CEO Phil Hansen Shares the Secrets of his Success with University of Utah Juniors and Seniors.

Salt Lake City, UT - April 2009 - Martyn Kingston, Professor in the Department of Marketing at the University of Utah invited CLEARLINK CEO, Phil Hansen, to speak to his Principles of Marketing 3010 classes about his successful marking endeavors since being a student at the University nearly a decade ago. Phil remarked on the obvious changes since he was a student at the U; high-tech classrooms, students taking notes on laptops, "and a good football team!" "When I was starting my first company as a junior here, the world was at the peak of the internet bubble. The very word internet held an almost magical connotation; nobody even had a website yet." The relatively young CEO recounted. "Some buddies and I started a web development business where industry standard was to charge companies insane amounts of money to build basic word-and-photo websites that could be built today for less than a hundred dollars."

Phil used this story as a segue into the importance of timing and opportunity in business; one of several key concepts he touched on in his short time with the students.

Reaching out to a young talent pool is something that Phil believes in as a core principle of success. He often refers to one of his favorite quotes by Pearl S. Buck, "The young do not know enough to be prudent, and therefore they attempt the impossible, and achieve it, generation after generation"

Professor Kingston looks forward to having Phil as a regular guest speaker in his classes at the U in the fall of 2009. CLEARLINK Cares Program Launch

Salt Lake City - March 23, 2009 - CLEARLINK kicked off its annual "CLEARLINK Cares" campaign by partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah to host a clothing drive at their Salt Lake City office.

The ongoing "CLEARLINK Cares" campaign is focused on giving back to the local Salt Lake City community and enriching the lives of CLEARLINK employees and citizens of Utah.. All employees of CLEARLINK are encouraged to participate in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program throughout the year. Dan Eyring, VP of Organizational Development at CLEARLINK stated, "As a nearly 4 year participant of the Big Brothers Big Sisters program I can fully endorse the great work Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah does and how many lives, both of "Bigs" and "Littles" this program touches."

CLEARLINK has placed a donation bin in the southwest side of their parking lot, located at 5202 W. Douglas Corrigan Way, Salt Lake City, UT. The location makes it easy for employees as well as other businesses in the area to aid in CLEARLINK's support for Big Brothers Big Sisters. "It's a great team building experience to engage in a socially impactful project as a company. CLEARLINK has always done a good job showing employees they care, it's nice to show the community they care as well," said Ben Brown, a CLEARLINK employee.

In an effort to serve 1,800 youth in Utah in 2009, the money raised from this partnership will be vital to the continuation of the Big Brothers Big Sisters mission. CLEARLINK's "CLEARLINK Cares" campaign partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters reinforces their commitment to the community, specifically Utah's youth.

CLEARLINK Launches Pay Per Call Program

Salt Lake City, November 25, 2008 - CLEARLINK recently launched a new pay per call platform that allows existing and new affiliates to drive qualified inbound calls to their sales facility on a per call basis. CLEARLINK affiliates now have the added flexibility to market online, offline, or take a hybrid approach by posting per call toll free tracking numbers on their web properties in conjunction with complete online order processes or lead forms.

"The per call payment model is really bridging the gap between online and over-the-phone conversions," said Mauri Love, VP Marketing. "Customers still prefer personal phone interaction over other forms of communication when it comes to ordering complex or expensive products and services, like home security. Customers want to know that they are getting the right service before they commit to a twelve month contract."

Similar to form-driven lead generation, phone leads are qualified through an Interactive Voice Response system (IVR) and must meet a minimum talk time threshold of 60 seconds in order to be considered billable. CLEARLINK affiliates benefit from lower abandonment rates and higher overall returns by giving consumers additional channels via which they can transact a sale. By placing dedicated toll free tracking numbers on their hosted landing pages or utilizing click to call technology, affiliates capture additional sales they otherwise would have lost.
